My name is Edward Belmudes. My family, friends, coaches and teammates call me "Eddie." I grew up in Hawaii and started playing soccer at the age of four with AYSO. At nine, I joined Kona Crush Soccer Academy to play competitively. When I was thirteen, my family and I moved to California after making the Developmental Academy (DA) team with LA Galaxy San Diego (LAGSD).
I have personal goals academically and athletically. Academically, I want to maintain a G.P.A. greater than 4.0 in high school so that it will help me get into the best college of my choice. I love math and science and I want to major in Bio-Engineering. Athletically, I train and work hard so that I may pursue playing soccer at the NCAA Division I (D-I) level. I'm a competitive person who excels in academics and athletics.
I have played in over sixty games in the last two and a half seasons with LAGSD 2004 Boys DA. I have started ninety percent of the games played.
When I play soccer, I never give up! Even though I love winning, I give everything I have on and off the field to help my team. I strive to be the best player I can be and learn from my mistakes.
There is no doubt in my mind that I will achieve my goals academically and athletically. I know that I will be prepared to enter college as an excellent student and a team player.
